JENNIFER BOILARD

Among Maine painters, Jennifer Boilard stands out for her mastery of multiple mediums. Accomplished in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastel, Boilard draws from a wide range of styles and techniques. This inventiveness lends each of her paintings a distinct identity and freshness, making every one a true original.

Born in Bangor in 1951, Boilard has always been inspired by the artistic process. She is a trained framer who has worked in galleries and frame shops across Maine, advising clients on everything from conservation to display. She personally frames all of her own paintings, approaching each piece as a complete work of art.

Boilard is a member of the Saco Bay Art Society and has won acclaim for her work at art festivals and juried shows. One of her prize-winning paintings is now part of the permanent collection of Saco’s City Hall. She has been commissioned to create paintings of Maine landmarks and designed pieces that were selected for advertisements, tourist guides, and storefront displays. Boilard’s work has been exhibited in galleries, libraries, and shops throughout the state and is currently on display at Mainely Art in Portland.
